The building at 117 N Main Street was originally built to house a bakery and a sweet shop, with a basement containing brick ovens and heat tunnels.

Later, it became the K & F Restaurant. The formal opening of the building as a tax office was in June of 1979 and is currently owned by Margaret Bare.

For the past 50 years, Fort Tax Service has been proud to serve the people of the community and surrounding area with their tax and bookkeeping needs.
